Why MyFina over YNAB
YNAB doubles down on envelope budgeting and category discipline — it works, but it's built for one currency and for US and Canadian banks. If you live in the EU or Ukraine, get paid in one currency and spend in another, YNAB isn't made for that, and it has never heard of Monobank.
MyFina is built for cross-border living: any currency with automatic and manual rates, Monobank syncs on every plan, EU and UK banks via PSD2 are in development and will join Pro at no extra cost, and the interface is translated into 14 languages. How to migrate from YNAB
- 1Export your budget from YNAB via File → Export Budget Data (.zip).
- 2Unzip — inside is a CSV with transactions and categories.
- 3Import the CSV into MyFina via Transactions → Import and map the columns: date, amount, category.
What to know before migrating
- No ads, no trackers — we're not Google or Mint.
- All your data is deleted in one click via Settings → Data — no support tickets.
