Why MyFina after Mint shut down

Intuit shut Mint down in March 2024 — users were migrated to Credit Karma, which focuses on credit scoring rather than personal finance. And more importantly — Mint never worked outside the US and Canada. If you're in the EU or Ukraine, you'd need an alternative regardless.

MyFina was built for Europe from day one: PSD2 sync for ~30 EU/UK banks, multi-currency, 14 locales. Category budgets, savings goals, subscription tracking — everything Mint had — is preserved here.

The core difference is privacy. Mint showed ads and pushed credit-card offers. MyFina never shows ads, never sells data to third parties, and doesn't build your profile for trackers. Pro is €24.90/year, Free stays free indefinitely for one person.

How to migrate from Mint

  1. 1If you still have a Mint CSV export — import it into MyFina via Transactions → Import.
  2. 2If the export is no longer available — add accounts manually; balance can be corrected via «Adjust balance».
  3. 3For US banks now living in Credit Karma — Plaid is not supported yet; add transactions manually or via CSV.

What we do differently

  • No ads in the UI — and there never will be.
  • No data sold to affiliate partners — our revenue is the Pro subscription.
  • Open API and one-click hard-delete. Leaving is as easy as signing up.
