Version 0.2.1 brings three small but pleasant everyday improvements: a broker catalog, a default account, and auto-saving settings.
Broker catalog
The Settings → Investments tab used to be a raw «API key and secret» field. It's now a grid of broker cards: Freedom Finance (available, connects via API) and Interactive Brokers (coming soon). For brokers not yet in the catalog there's a universal manual mode — create an investment account and track the balance by hand, following any broker (DEGIRO, Robinhood, Trade Republic, etc.) even before an API integration exists.
The internal protocol name «Tradernet» has been renamed in the UI to Freedom Finance — existing connections keep working unchanged.
Default account
In Settings → Profile you can pick a default account. It's pre-selected when you quick-add a transaction on the dashboard and on the New transaction page — one fewer click every time.
Auto-saving settings
Language, timezone, and default account now save the moment you change them — no separate «Save» button. A status indicator appears next to the field (saving → saved). The one exception is base currency: it keeps an explicit button, because changing it triggers a heavy recompute of every historical amount.
What's next
The broker catalog is the foundation: we'll keep adding new connections as APIs mature and demand from the waitlist grows.
