Version 0.2.0 is one of MyFina's biggest updates. The headline: connecting banks became humane, and planning now lives in one place.

Country-based bank catalog

The Settings → Banks tab is no longer a raw token field — it's a grid of bank cards filtered by country (~30 banks across EU / UK / UA). If your bank isn't there yet, you can join the waitlist, and we'll email you the moment it becomes available.

Open Banking — PSD2 via GoCardless

European banks now connect via the PSD2 (Open Banking) standard — automatic transaction sync for thousands of EU/EEA banks without a separate integration for each. Consent lasts 90 days; MyFina reminds you to renew before it expires.

The Planning page

The /budget section moved to /planning and became a single hub with tabs: Budget · Goals · Family · Subscriptions · Debts. Old budget links keep working (redirect).

Savings goals

There's now a full goals interface: cards with a progress bar, status (on track / behind), contributions, and an estimate of when the goal will be reached. Plus milestone push notifications — 80%, 100%, and a behind-schedule warning.

Also in this version

  • Per-user notification preferences — which reminders to receive and when.
  • Legal pages /legal/privacy and /legal/terms — public, in 13 languages.
  • A new brand icon and stable avatar loading across deployments.

What's next

PSD2 is the foundation for safe auto-sync. Next we'll expand the bank catalog and streamline confirming incoming transactions.
